I love how you guys are getting your daughters into Nerf. So many people get stuck in the sexism of what it means to be a boy or a girl.. girls get dolls and housemaking crap, boys get the guns, construction and essentially higher paid job role toys (scientist, construction, explorer etc).

Good on you all for seeing past all the social norming!

    Cute kids!

My now 4 year old has been helping me ambush my mates since she could pick up a nf. Once she got a bit bigger she started using my double shot. One day I kinda left a loaded, modified nf round. Next thing I know i've got a red ranger in the back of my head and she yells "yay ,head shot". Proudest moment of my life apart from her and her sisters birth. Lol we play alot of modern warfare

My little girl that turns 5 this year told my missus that "daddy likes guns, can we get him one for dad's day?" So the missus got a mav for my daughter to give to me as well as a ring with DAD stamped on it with a diamond either side.

The missus doesn't like the nerf guns being used while my daughters around but when she goes out somewhere, the house becomes a war zone and some times a mate drops in with his 4 yr old step son and then its on.

I think its a great way to bond with your kids. I find it awesome and so does my daughter.
