Real laser/torch mod for the N-Strike Red-dot accessory

Hi guys,

I've been searching the net and various forums to find a conversion for the shitty red-dot add-on you get with the Recon. But I couldn't find one that was cheap, easy to do and most of all worked properly , all I found was people taping stuff in strange places or to the extreme's of gluing actual tactical rails onto guns just to be able to put $300 lasers on a Nerf gun!

So fed up with the nonsense I decided to do one myself! I'm pretty happy with the results, it involved no cutting, a little glue, cost only $10 for parts and it works like a real laser should!!!

so here's a few pic's for you, I know It just looks like a normal std red-dot unmodified ... but that's the point, all the mods are internal save the on-off switches in the side.

If any one is interested i can tell you how it's done ...

Actualy, I am a little intrigued to see what you put in there.

I realize the reason for the thread but my post had been up for over 3 days and no-one had commented or even asked how I did it so I got the impression it was no good.
Also not trying to be rude to a lot of the members here but the average age is around junior high school and this mod involves an actual laser, not the kind of thing I'm to keen on young people messing around with. The details are by no means a "secret" but looking directly into a laser is very dangerous and I don't like the idea of some 12yr old blinding himself doing my mod. guess who)
Someone like yourself Roger can understand we as older members and adults do have some duty of care even if a very small amount to the younger more impressionable members, by all means I can post the in's and out's of this mod but unless there's a massive outcry of interest I'd rather PM you or any for that matter the details for now!
