I'll go and check them out, they sound very fun. I don't war, so it's no biggy for me there, hahaa. Half of that is pretty confusing, but I i think you said is that, anything that has air pressure and water in the dame tank will suck and anything with those spheres coming off it will kill stuff. Hahaa.

This phone makes more mistakes than a blind kid with a stutter.
Are any of the Nerf ones any good? Or are they just all shit? Like, Longshots are pretty wicked, where as the rest of the line suck.

Children aren't smart... But then this ever cuddly safty culture is just getting silly. Like bloody political correctness, god forbid you ever offend anyone.
Personally I don't like converted water guns (for my own use) as you have to pull the trigger hard and fast to ensure a full tank dump instantly. That tends to mess with my accuracy as I do the whole squeeze the trigger thing. With a water gun I end up just having the dart wheeze out the end of the barrel :s
That said the iron man water gun makes an awesome shotgun as Gooni demonstrated.

Ohh, yeah, hadn't thought of that fast trigger pull thing. Oh well, still be fun. See if I can build something to fix that, like the dart pusher thing in a Barricade. Wheeze out the barrel..? What do you mean? Like, pull the trigger so slow that it doesn't fire?

Re: The Questions Thread.
You get a slower sustained air release, rather than a fast dump of all the air. So some of the air pushes the dart through a barrel and it leaves before the tank empties. So you get maybe 15-25 feet of range and the rest of the air just escapes. Rather than one huge pressure difference propelling the dart it's more of a slow pushing acceleration.

As long as you can get to the firing pin and trigger (internals) you can significantly decrease this effect. There's usually a spring between the pin head and the trigger mechanism. Just hot glue the spring so there is no compression. And make sure the trigger dosen't have any 'play'

Aye that works too. I tend to use either a beserker or a 4b when i use an air gun so most modded water guns I try out just feel inferior. Anything more powerful than a 4b and I'd be dubious about firing it at a person anyway.

Clear 6 dart clip?
Just wondering if there is such a thing? Could be very useful for a project I've got going.

Jesus gun. Going to butcher the poor clip and use it strapped to the side of the stock to hold some spare darts. Considering instead using a barrel break attachment.

Oh I see. Yeah a barrel break thing would be easier to get. Or use the dart holding pieces from a nightfinder.

Re: The Questions Thread.
yeh mate, if you want an ammo holder on the stock, I'll make one from PETG.
I looked at this yesterday, but wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not. Admittedly, I'm used to having the 35-round drum on my Stampede's.
With a bit of fabricating, it won't be a major issue.

Re: The Questions Thread.
I got a 20mm conduit in my singled Triple Shot. Has anyone encountered a situation with their conduit and whistler darts where the dart encounters too much friction with the barrel and hence fails to leave it?
Just trying to gauge if anyone has encountered this before. I got hypotheses to solve the problem though.

Re: The Questions Thread.
I just tested with my TS, no problems. My TS has a home-made plunger head, increased draw and stock + stock LS + recon spring and I'm getting some very nice ranges.
My darts are a firm fit but not overly so. I'm also using a 1ft barrel.
Are you using orange or grey conduit?

Re: The Questions Thread.
orange conduit - mind you it doesn't happen to all of them, so I just thought if I lubricate the inside barrel with my 3 in 1 it should be sweet. Results are TBC

Spring and Lubricant?
helloooo.
After taking my recon's air restrictor out, of course,my plunger broke.
After getting the aluminium plunger from Black Tactical, my o-ring expanded.
so i replaced the o-ring and need lubricant and want a spring replacement.
i've heard the best type of lube is silicone based, but i dont know where to get that, or the spring!
would Bunnings have both?

Re: The Questions Thread.
Lubricant can be bought at Bunnings. Better Lubricants can be bought at RC Hobby shops and such. You're going to have to go back to BT for a spring along with the O-ring. Most would say "Why Bother?, It's a recon!" but since you have the Aluminium plunger, why not.

Do powerstocks even work ? I mean, I know that they add a lot more stress to your blaster, but I haven't come across a justified powerstock mod with noticeable results.

I don't know if you already translated it but the prices are in singaporian dollars and you can look into the black tactical group buy thread to drastically reduce the cost of shipping.s3an9000 wrote:spring is 29 bucks including shipping!!!!= helloo powerstock

Yes and no. They are the only way to squeeze the absolute maximum range out of your reverse plunger guns. However at the end of the day the effort that went into the powerstock would probably have been better invested into a direct plunger gun or a homemade.

In what way? It's probably not going ot explode...
It really depends on the seller. Check their feedback and make a decision.
