Sorry about all that hullabaloo earlier about me sending you that longstrike as payment for an aluminium longstrike plunger. (page 6 of this topic)

Anyway it looks like I will getting that longstrike from Rees85 after all. Assuming that you're still okay with the deal we had previously, would it be okay if I had the longstrike sent to your work? Then you would have the plunger inside to work with.
I dont remember what the deal was?
Having the longstrike would help as I currently dont have one
At the moment I'm still working on the longshot internals

The deal was I would send you a longstrike in return for an aluminium version of the plunger inside the longstrike. I'm gonna send payment to Rees85 tomorrow then have it shipped your workplace so you have a 1/1 reference of the plunger required.

I don't mind waiting for a while, the longshot internals seem to be highly sought after atm

    Hey

How are the extra longshot internals coming along? Are you still doing the plunger parts too or not anymore?

Also about the brass tubing on your website, what diameters does it come in? and is it $5 per 300mm no matter what sizes I get pre-cut?

    Cheers

I'm still doing everything except aluminium reverse plungers at the moment
Working on the longshot, raider and deploy plungers next week

    Brass tubing isnt available yet
It will be available in 4 commonly used sizes and cut to whatever length required at an approximate amount of $5 per 300mm billed per mm

I got my aluminium parts on Thursday and used them for the war on Saturday. They are everything I expected and more, really happy with these.

Going to stick in another spring and a brass barrel and see how far I can get my LS to go (currents stands at 32m max).

I plan to order some more bits from you in the future Chris

If you're going to make reverse plungers I highly suggest you make the insides as smooth as 'stock' plungers. I think it will wear down the O-Ring much more quickly if you have little mini bumps on it.

    Hey,

Would you be able to ship these parts to New Zealand? I blew my Longshot boltsled and I'd rather invest in parts that won't break rather than buying another LS and have it break again.

No moving parts, 42X80X184 mm approx. straight acrylic would work extremely well as well as keep the cost down. It's pretty much a box with ten tubes through it with a comb on the side.
    $20 each I'm guessing

I'm surprised this wasn't thought of first before bolt sleds to be honest. You could sell these in the mass, particularly if you can get the cost around $20.00

Which also reminds me. Are you still making a higher density prototype for me?

Which also I would like to point out I can send you a magstrike clip your way because I don't really use my Magstrike and as you've seen in some photos I've got copious amounts of Magstrike Clips.

Alright I shall think about that. But not just yet. I'm just making sure I have enough magstrike clips. I sold them all pretty quick. I'm just awaiting for payment.

Or how about you send me a magstrike clip prototype when you're done with it? I'm fine paying $20+postage (I think the price was, correct me if I'm wrong). Since Magstrike clip costs like $35 all together WITH postage and registered :(. Such a rip off.

Do you know the 'stem' part of the plunger rod. That's the part that actually gets ripped off. The screw inside the plunger head rips the stem off. That would be my guess.

Also there are some reports of the stem splitting too. I'd suggesty ou just make the whole part. But make the rod hollow so the aluminium is lighter. But solid at the tip where the screw goes in.

In that case, at the moment, compared to the original...

The stem part will be made of stronger plastic and be solid
The head will be made of Aluminium and they will be screwed together
The back plate will be made of aluminium and be the same basic size but will have a few changes of which you can see in my tweet

As far as I can tell your online store is a little out dated. Is their any chance I could get some clarification on what you have so far. I am after a Longshot Aluminium boltslead, Trigger catch and full plunger assembly. Along with all Recon Aluminium equivalents. Do you have all of these internals?

I am after fairly large quantitys, five sets of longshot internals and 3 sets of Recon internals. Thanks

The web store is not outdated whats on the store is what I have made
As I actually make all the parts myself I dont have time to acquire stock.
If I'm not making parts for orders I'm working on new parts. My tweets outline that I'm currently making LS bolt sleds for 2 customers while working on LS plunger parts
